Recital 2 11.00 am	Ballarat Central Uniting Church cnr Lydiard Street South & Dana Streets, Ballarat	Barbara Baird (USA) - Organ Recital	The brilliant American organist Dr Baird returns to the festival to play Duruflé, the Schübler Chorales of J.S.Bach and the Barber Adagio on the newly restored grand Fincham organ.
Recital 3 3.00 pm	Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts 1220 Howitt Street, Wendouree	Gerard Willems Piano Recital	Renowned pianist Gerard Willems will play Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata and Greig's Holberg Suite
5.00pm	The western shore of Lake Wendouree near the Lake Pavilion and the Swan Pond Free public event and all are welcome to enjoy this special occasion	Inspired by the annual Venetian ceremony to ‘marry’ Venice to the Sea at the entrance to the lagoon, we will celebrate the marriage of Ballarat to LakeWendouree	Accompanied by Newman College Choir and the colourful renaissance ensemble La Compañia with sackbuts and cornets, the Bishop, Doge and other dignitaries will sail across the Lake in the paddle steamer to conduct the ceremony. To add to the occasion, spectacular kites created by artists from the Venice Biennale will be flown.
Recital 4 8.00pm	St Patrick's College Chapel 1431 Sturt Street, Ballarat	Vespers for the Venetian Marriage to the Sea Choir of Newman College with La Compañia directed by Dr Gary Ekkel	This evening’s recital features a reconstruction of the festive Vespers music for choir and period brass instruments, which was always performed after the Venetian Marriage to the Sea ceremony, Sposalizio del Mare. The performance includes music for a spectacular eight-part choir and period brass instruments by Giovanni Gabrieli, Claudio Monteverdi and Antonio Lotti.

Recital 5 3.00 pm	Ballarat Mechanics Institute 117 Sturt Street, Ballarat	Ironwood play Mozart Quartet No 428 in Eb Fortepiano quartet No 478 in G minor	Sydney based "Ironwood" is one of Australia's most vibrant ensembles exploring music using early string and keyboard instruments.
Recital 6 8.00 pm	The Chapel of St Mark, Ballarat Grammar Corner of Howitt and Forest Streets, Wendouree	"Inspiration" Calvin Bowman as Organist and Composer Greta Bradman soprano Ballarat String Quartet	Dr Calvin Bowman plays works which first captivated him or have been important to him. The program also includes some of his own compositions including the premier performance of a work for organ and soprano commissioned by The Hugh Williamson Foundation and Ballarat Grammar in 2011.

Recital 7 11.00 am	The former Methodist Church, Wesley College, Clunes	Barbara Baird Organ Ballarat String Ensemble Handel Concerti Mozart Church Sonatas Bach G major concerto	Dr Barbara Baird makes a welcome return to the festival from Oregon USA. We will hear the beautiful old mechanical action organ, brought from England in about 1866 and recently restored by the South Island Organ Company, NZ. This recital will be dedicated to the members of the company who lost their lives in the disasterous 2011 Christchurch earthquake whilst removing the previously earthquake damaged organ from the Durham Street Methodist Church.
Recital 8 1.30 pm repeated at 3pm	Clunes Town Hall	The Flute and Lute in France and Germany Sophie Ardiet baroque flute James Holland baroque lute	From Paris, Sophie Ardiet and James Holland come to play the music of Hotteterre, Falckenhagen and CPE Bach in the charming Clunes Town Hall.
Recital 9 8.00pm	Neil Street Uniting Church, Cnr Neil and Macarthur Streets, Ballarat	Anthony Halliday organ	The program to be played on the newly restored Fincham organ will include works by J.S. Bach

Recital 11 4.00 pm	Ballarat Christian Fellowship Church 503 Mair Street, Ballarat	Duo for Flute and Guitar Roberto Fabbriciani flute Massimo Scattolin guitar	Returning to the festival by popular request, the Italian duo will give a recital of works by Paganini, Rossini, Donizetti, Scattolin and Fabbriciani.
